Information about securities

On 18 December 2012 the Bank successfully completed the auction of the securities owned by third parties and held in the custody of Latvijas Krajbanka and reminds that the former owners of the securities may turn to the Bank to receive funds due to them as a result of the auction. It also refers to the dividend payments for the individuals who had opened securities accounts with the Bank in the period 23 December 2011 to 21 December 2012.

Please be reminded that as an immediate transfer of the proceeds from the auction to a notary public for safe-keeping would require significant costs to be born by the former customers of the Bank, the Administrator has sought a solution that is far more beneficial to the former customers.

The former customers who held securities with the Bank may turn to the customer service centre of Latvijas Krajbanka in Riga, J. Dalina iela 15, from 9.00 to 17.00 to complete documents required to transfer the funds due to them to another bank. When visiting the Bank in person, the former customers should remember to bring their passports as information on the funds receivable by them will only be provided based on the person's identification.

The former customers should also be prepared to provide details of their account with another bank as disbursements of funds will only be made via transfers.
